What to expect?

✨ Pranayama (Breathing Practice)
We will begin our session together with the practice of Pranayama. I will guide you through this breathing exercise, specifically chosen to help strengthen lung capacity and reduce stress & anxiety. By activating your parasympathetic nervous system, it will bring you into a calm ‘rest & digest’ state, boosting mental focus and clarity to prepare your body for deep rest.

🧘‍♀️ Restorative Yoga Therapy
In our busy and stressful world—especially as the festive season begins—we all need a little more time for ourselves. A little more time to soften, absorb, relax, release, and simply ‘let go’ and be present.

When the pace of life is fast, our minds and bodies speed up to match. In Restorative Yoga, we employ the use of bolsters, blankets, and yoga props to completely support the body. This allows you to feel held unconditionally, knowing and trusting that you can fully let go. Restorative Yoga helps balance our busy lifestyles and has an enormous capacity to heal stress-related physical and emotional imbalances.

💫 Guided Self-Hypnosis
We will then set up in a supported yoga nest (think bolsters, blankets, and ultimate comfort) to prepare you for deep rest through guided self-hypnosis. This stress-management practice has been specifically chosen to quiet the mind. Hypnosis isn’t just about relaxation; it is about focused attention, imagination, and expectation.

People tend to get out of self-hypnosis what they put into it, so you might want to think of this as a beautiful personal experiment—an opportunity to show yourself how deeply you can relax when you genuinely allow yourself to, putting your heart and soul into the practice. It is in this hypnagogic state of deep relaxation that the body shifts toward “parasympathetic dominance,” slowing the heart rate, reducing anxiety, and promoting restful sleep.

So, amidst the joyful festive mayhem of family, shopping, cooking, entertaining, doing, coming, and going… I invite you to take a moment to stop, deeply relax, and nourish your body, mind & heart.

Rest, Digest & Surrender….

Looking forward to sharing this practice with YOU!

Namaste,

Love, Peace & Gratitude,
